Uist Book Festival

16 - 22 den t-Samhain, 2020, air feadh Uibhist.

A' comharrachadh litreachas Uibhist ri linn Seachdain Leabhraichean na h-Alba. Am measg nan tachartasan air feadh na seachdain, bidh farpais sgrìobhaidh, seiseanan ùghdair, òraidean, bogaidhean leabhair agus bùthan-obrach sna sgoiltean agus sa choimhearsnachd.

16 - 22 of November, 2020, across Uist.

Celebrating Uist's literature during Book Week Scotland. Author sessions, a writing competition, lectures, book launches and workshops in schools and in the community.

'S e buidheann obrachaidh a tha a' cur na fèill seo air dòigh, air a tharraing à coimhearsnachd agus buidhnean Uibhist.

Tha an fhèill a' faighinn taic-maoineachaidh fialaidh aig Urras Leabhraichean na h-Alba, Alba Chruthachail, Bòrd na Gàidhlig, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Iomairt na Gàidhealtachd 's nan Eilean, Comhairle nan Leabhraichean, Stòras Uibhist, agus Urras Katharine Barr.

The book festival is organised by a working group comprised of individuals and organisations from Uist.

The festival has received kind support from Scottish Book Trust, Creative Scotland, Bòrd na Gàidhlig, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Highlands & Islands Enterprise, Comhairle nan Leabhraichean, Stòras Uibhist, and the Katharine Barr Estate.
